I am trying to raise some sponsorship for I Am Dyslexic.com as I really do want to run it more efficiently. At the moment I borrow my mum's PC to make the site. This is difficult as she often needs it and also it has a very small screen. I keep all my emails on my iBook but I take that to school everyday and I worry that something will go wrong and I will lose everything. All the quiz entries are also on my iBook. |
| I really need to get a desktop computer and a large screen so that I can run the website from it. I have airport and I would love to network my apple iBook and the desktop computer. This would make everything much better and it will be much easier to keep the site going. |

I am also trying to make the site more interesting and lively. I am desperately keen to learn Java and javascript. It will be much easier when I can do them to do more things. My mum is looking for courses for me but they are very expensive and i would really like to learn more so that I can develop the site better.

Om Sunday September 16th Richard Radley completed 'The great North Run'. He ran it in 2 hours and 32 minutes which was brill.

He was raising money for the British Dyslexia Assosiation but he has very kindly said that he will give 20% of the money raised to I Am Dyslexic.com. This will be such a help and I am very grateful. Richard is 33 years of age and has 3 children and also a poodle called Ellie. His hobbies are DIY, Religion, Charity Work and family life. This was his first run and he said that he ached after the run. I am not suprised. |

In the past he has driven to Croatia and Bosnia four times in a 38 ton lorry to deliver food and medical aid to the refugees. Now he has 3 children this has had to stop. Richards race number was 11507 and I watched the run all morning on BBC. There were absolutely thousands of people running. |
Richard is not dyslexic but he knows a 12 year old boy who is. .
