• MOVING
  I am rather busy at the moment as we are moving house on August 19th. I really did not realize what a lot of rubbish I have in my bedroom and I seem to have filled loads of boxes!
  
  
  
• CHARTERHOUSE
  

  About 3 more weeks and then I start at Charterhouse - I am really looking to going to a new school - they seem very cool about being dyslexic and I will not have to do any languages which is brilliant. I enjoy all the other lessons as long as I am allowed to use my laptop. I am hoping to do some extra IT in my free periods. I may even be able to work on improving this site - I am not quite sure what will happen.

  
  
  
• SAILING

  I have spent loads of time this holidays sailing. We had a family holiday on The Norfolk Broads in a sailing yacht and I have also had 2 sailing courses on the sea at Eastbourne. I am doing my RYA Awards and I really love sailing on the sea. It is one thing that I will miss when we move - I will not be by the sea anymore but there is a large lake where you can sail quite near where we will be living. I have put a picture of the boat we had on The Norfolk Broads - This is a 1930 mahogany sail boat. It has no motor and only runs on the wind. They have two separate cabins. The fore cabin contains the loo as well as my bed which is a bit of a problem, especially when mom comes in and goes to the loo in the middle of the night! Cooking is by gas in the well. • PROGRAMMING and MAKING SOFTWARE
  

  I have been working hard over the holidays learning Visual Basic.NET and I am going on a course at the end of August. I have eventually managed to put a demo of one of my Games on the internet. It is really easy to download it and if you like it perhaps you would like to buy the complete version! Each game only costs £5.00 which includes postage and packing. If you have downloaded the demo I really would appreciate some feedback as I do want to improve my site and how it works. I have sold about 7 games so far and I am trying to build this up. I did actually send one to the USA but in the end it cost me more to cash the cheque than it was worth! I think I will have to learn about exporting! • I Am Computing.com
  

  I am trying to set up a new site called I Am Computing.com for my resources that I am making. I also get lots of enquiries about making websites so I thought I could start making these for people. I am setting up this new site with my mother and we hope to start getting some interest soon. We are going to market my resources and develop software for individuals and also we will make sites for people. If we manage to make any money we will first of all use it to keep this site going. I have been determined not to just fill the site with advertising but the downside is that I have to find some money to run it. There are expenses like hosting the site, paying for the domain, having a computer to make the site etc. I do not have any regular sponsorship so rather than moan about it I thought I would try and raise some funds!
