I am now on half term. I am on holiday till Thursday, then it's back to school. I then have one more week of lessons, then it's into the 'leavers' programme. We do loads of cool things, like leavers' camp - three days in the new forest - and 'the South of England Show'. We hope we have sold our house - we have actually chosen a new one in Godalming which is really near to my new school. It is actually 0.25 miles from Charterhouse. Mum and Dad seem to be worried about 'exchanging contracts' which should happen soon they hope



• SCHOLARSHIPS!!!
  

  You are probably really bored about hearing about my scholarships that I took to Charterhouse at the beginning of May. Well, Its all over now. I got into the school with a Major Exhibition. It's all relaxing now. You don't have to hear about them any longer. I will join the school in September with all the other yearlings (year 9). To the right is a picture of Founders Court, with Gownboys behind. Gownboys in a house in the school. There are eleven houses in the school. Four old and seven new. I will be joining an old house. It is called Saunderites. It is left of Gownboys. You can just see it to the left of the statue.

  
  
  
• Quizzes
  

  The quizzes have been going really well at the moment. At the moment I have a Queens Jubilee hunt, where you have to find the british flag. The next hunt will be a world cup hunt. Here you will have to find a football. This will be starting half way thought the world cup - 15th June. I do hope all your countries do well in the world cup. • MY SPEECH
  

  In the last two newsletters I put on a clip of how I used to talk when I was 4 and a 1/2 years old. I just cannot understand what I was trying to say. Again I have added another clip of something I said at the same age. If anyone has any iders of what I am saying please email me by clicking here!. Other people who also have problems with their speech and being understood might like to listen to it. My speech is normal now but I had loads and loads of help when I was young. I started to have speech therapy when I was 3 years old. I think I now understand why I find foreign languages so hard - I couldn't even learn to pronounce English words like everyone else.
